District Eyewear
District Eyewear was born in the heart of Mexico City in 2009 when two childhood friends decided to pursue their lifelong dream of creating a new line of Mexican Eyewear which would be clearly differentiated from the mainstream and sometimes tedious designs that were being industrially produced by multinational companies from around the world.
From the very beginning we knew that we wanted to become a reference when it came to Mexican style, design, exclusivity and excellence and we therefore decided that we would devote more than three years of our lives to researching and learning about the complex world of eyewear design and crafting before launching in early 2013 our first eyewear collection under the District Eyewear label.
District Eyewear prides itself on designing adventurous, fresh, bold and creative eyewear that are made with some of the world’s most carefully chosen and best quality products such as handcrafted Italian acetates from Verona and some of the finest lenses that the market has to offer. A key essence of our values is our attention to detail and craftsmanship which is evident in the immaculate finishings and detailigs that go into our glasses.
We are young and vibrant and our aim is to constantly innovate and revolutionize the world of independent eyewear through our unflinching passion for cutting-edge design and craftsmanship from one of the world’s most vibrant corners of the world.
While rapidly becoming recognized on a global scale by eyewear connoisseurs and fashionistas worldwide, District Eyewear retains its unmistakably cosmopolitan Mexican essence.
